Water Usage
We’ve reduced our headquarters’ water usage by 35% through improvements to our landscaping watering systems. In addition, by installing water saving toilets, we’ve saved the equivalent of more than 3 million bottles of beer annually.
Initiatives that we’ve instituted as a result of our commitment to water savings:

Dual Flush Toilets and Waterless Urinals
Sometimes less is more, less water that is. Sole Technology’s waterless urinals and dual- flush toilets save 340,000 gallons of water annually.

Landscaping
Our headquarters are landscaped with a mix of edible and native plants. As a perk, the landscape features fruit trees and a vegetable garden that require minimal watering and employees are free to enjoy and share with their families. Often employees have to compete with the birds to get the fresh strawberries!

Apparel Production
The vast majority of water usage is contributed to the apparel process, which as an industry is very damaging to the environment. Sole Technology is in the process of further investigating innovative technologies that will benefit the manufacturing of apparel as a whole, to include the use of reclaimed water.
